HAVE FAITH; MOVE MOUNTAINS

It takes faith to believe.

It takes faith to know that God created the heavens and the earth. It takes faith to believe that Jesus is the son of God and that there is no other way to God but through him.

And yet, once the faith is put into practice, explosive outcomes occur.

Certainly, you remember the part from the movie, “Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade” when Indiana Jones musters up faith to walk off a cliff, hoping that he steps onto a hidden trail. Miraculously, his feet land on a rock pathway. Once he finds the “hidden” path he clearly sees the rest of the route. Though this was just a movie, it is a good example of walking by faith.

We must take the first step of faith. It is in obedience, believing that God will make a way, that miracles happen. He never fails us. He leads us from the moment we, by faith, accept him as our Lord. (He was the one who guided our steps that directed us toward him, in the first place.) And then he continues to guide us in every part of our lives. Instead of seeing with our eyes, we begin the journey of seeing with our heart and hearing with our spirit.

David may have seen a giant in front of him when he faced Goliath, but in his heart, he saw the power of his God and faith arose in his spirit. The same thing happens in each of us. We may see destruction. We may see defeat. We may see hopelessness. Those are the very moments we need to walk by faith, and not by sight. That is when we need to take courage and fight the giants in our lives with the Word of God.

“David replied to the Philistine, “You come against me with sword and spear and javelin, but I come to you in the name of the LORD of Heaven’s Armies – the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied.

Today the LORD will conquer you, and I will kill you and cut off your head. And then I will give the dead body of your men to the birds and the wild animals, and the whole world will know that there is a God in Israel!” 1 Samuel 17:46 & 47 (NLT)

David had unwavering faith in his Lord. He believed with all his heart that the Lord would not just pull him through, but that he would give him wisdom to DEFEAT the giant that taunted him and the God he served. He had such faith that he told his enemy he would die. How dare his enemy defy the God of Heaven.

The giants in our lives will fall, as well. They won’t just fall; they will be destroyed! They will die! The Lord stated that NO weapon formed against us will prosper. (Isaiah 54:17)

It starts with BELIEVING anything is possible. It starts with believing what our Lord says. It starts with faith.

Faith is powerful!

The Lord said that if we had faith, as little as a mustard seed we could move mountains. NOTHING would be impossible. (Matthew 17:20)

Faith was powerful then and it is powerful now.

Even in my personal life, situations that seem impossible to untangle, have been miraculously straightened. And I have heard testimonies of the impossible in the lives of others.

All we need to do is BELIEVE.

Remember the story in the Bible about the father who wanted his son to be delivered from demons that were trying to kill him? He asked Jesus if he was able to help him. Jesus told him that everything is possible for anyone who believes. The father wanted to believe and asked the Lord to help him overcome his unbelief. (Mark 9)

It only takes us to believe and yet, even if we struggle with believing, we need only to ask the Lord to increase our faith. The Lord takes what we give him and expounds on it.

Think about the time Jesus took the small amount of bread and fish and fed 5000! It really IS all about him and the power of HIS hands. We need to simply believe and walk out our faith, no matter how small it may appear. He accomplishes the rest.

Once while at a prayer meeting, we prayed for a local government leader. During the prayer time the Lord showed me a picture. I saw the person we were praying for lift their shield towards heaven. I noticed that the shield itself was not large. It was only the size of a dinner plate, yet the person lifted it confidently in faith. Suddenly I noticed that a large invisible force field begin to shoot out from the small shield. It covered the individual completely.

Then I understood.

The Lord just asks us to lift our shields of faith, no matter what size they may be. He takes our sacrifice, our praise, our faith and creates greatness from it.

As we exercise our faith, he causes it to grow. And soon faith allows us to believe in more miracles. As each prayer is answered our hope rises, our fears lift, and faith becomes our lifestyle.

Living by faith does not mean we have little.
It means we have all that God desires for us.

He is our shield. He is our protector. He is the lifter of our souls.

When Moses put his staff into the sea, it parted. It was not the staff that parted the sea. It was his obedience and his faith that the Lord would deliver him. The Lord did the rest.

Like Moses, our part is to stand in faith and believe. Everything else is in the Lord’s hands. He provides our needs, our miracles.

He is a good God. He is good when there are blessings. He is good when evil appears to prevail. He is good when darkness covers the earth. And he is good when we see a mighty miracle take place.

Quit looking at the impossible situations that appear to be looming. Instead look at the Lord of the host of heaven. Keep your eyes focused on him. Speak to the giants that stand in front of you and say,

“How dare you defy my Lord. I refuse to bow to fear. I refuse to bow to unbelief. My God will supply all my needs. My God will strike down the giants that taunt me. Greater is he that lives in me than he that lives in this world. God will rescue me!”

HAVE FAITH. MOVE MOUNTAINS. BELIEVE.

God bless.

War in prayer

Lately I have been reposting. I guess it is because I have been reading so many great articles that it is hard to not want to share, and in some cases, need to share. This article was taken from the website: hiskingdomprophecy.com

The author resides in Ireland and has had several dreams about America that she believes are God-inspired, as do I. I know we are to test “prophetic words”. I do not take them lightly.  Yet, I believe it is important to at least listen to the word or in this case, read it and then judge for yourself.

I just want to preface it with 2 Timothy 1:7 “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, and of love and of a sound mind.” (NKJV)

Also Matthew 5:45b – “He makes his sun rise on people whether they are good or evil. He lets rain fall on them whether they are just or unjust.” (GWT)

And finally we should remember to pray for each other, especially as we travel through difficult seasons. Prayer -or as this article states – “waging war” changes things. Pray for those walking through hardship and pray that each person may find hope through our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

God Bless.

California, God has taken hold of the land and He is shaking all things loose, that which is good will stand, but that which is not of Him will be utterly destroyed!

Watch and pray, for we have entered into a season of sudden and violent shakings in the nations.

These shakings are taking place both physically and spiritually.

This is the time to be stationed high upon the walls of our cities, that we may know how to wage war effectively and know how to be fully prepared for what will surely take place in the days ahead!

As I went to bed last night, I had not been asleep very long when I was woken with an urgency to pray for the American State of California and for the nation of America.

As I began to war in the spirit, I was shown that the State of California is earmarked for two great shakings, both physical and spiritual.

I saw two mighty earthquakes taking place over the land in the days ahead.

Just as we are seeing the fires raging across the land, so there will be a fire of His Glory and revival that will rage across the land.

But as I looked at the fires in the physical, I saw a great shifting or movement taking place deep underground all over that state.

I saw the movement of underground plates running right across the land right up to the coastline.

Then suddenly I saw a great and sudden earthquake taking place in the physical over the land.

But as I looked at the nation being shaken violently, I saw that the landscape of the nation was being totally realigned and transformed.

Then I saw in the spirit yet another great shaking coming upon the land.  But it was a spiritual shaking and I watched as the spiritual landscape of California and the nation was realigned and totally transformed.

RHEMA REPOST:

An Urgent Word for California, America!

Posted on April 26, 2018

An urgent word for California, America!

“California, California repent and return.

For the hour of great calamity and sudden catastrophe shall come upon the land.

For have I not said, he who remains stiff-necked after many rebukes will suddenly be destroyed without hope or remedy?”

In the very early hours of this morning I was caught up in a very powerful vision where I was taken in the spirit over the land of California, America.

Now in the vision I encountered a warring Angel of the LORD.  Now amazingly, I have encountered the same warring angel when I received a word of warning a few months back concerning the nation of Australia, where I saw and was shown a great earthquake coming suddenly upon the land. (See “Pray for the Nation of Australia“.)

In the vision last night, as I stood before the warring angel, I heard these words coming out of the heavens, “California, California repent and return, for the hour of great calamity and sudden catastrophe shall come upon the land.

For have I not said, he who remains stiff-necked after many rebukes will suddenly be destroyed without hope or remedy?”

On hearing those words, suddenly the Angel of the LORD unraveled a golden scroll and set it before me as he had done before.

Written upon the scroll were the words of (Ezekiel 33).  As I looked again at the scroll, the numbers 333, and 111 were highlighted to me.

Then suddenly the warring Angel of LORD left me and I came out of the vision.

Please read Ezekiel 33:1-11.(below) and take special note of the 11th verse of this chapter:

“Say to them, ‘As surely as I live, declares the Sovereign LORD, I take no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but rather that they turn from their ways and live.  Turn!  Turn from your evil ways!”

Just over the last few weeks I have been lead to study the following numbers and the correlating scriptures, I believe prophetically they reflect the season we are now in.

Numbers: 333

See Jeremiah 33:3  “Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.’”

In this hour, there is a call to deeper intercession as the hidden mysteries and revelation of His Glory is being made available to all who are seeking, knocking and asking.

Ask of the Spirit in this season for a fresh infilling for heaven is indeed releasing fresh, new Revelation and strategy for the current-season and circumstances in the earth.

Numbers: 111

These numbers talk of spiritual awakening.

A few months ago I had a dream where I could hear the sound of trumpets and bells ringing across the face of the earth and I heard these words, “The sound of a divine wake up call is now being released into the nations of the earth!”

Listen friends, prophetically, we have entered into a season of great awakening.

Many are beginning to experience the supernatural favour and extravagant provision of heaven over their lives.

It’s time to take new ground and take hold of the promises of God like never before.

We are crossing over.  We have entered into a time of divine transition and realignment, revival, restoration and reformation in the earth.

The resurrection power of God is bringing forth new life.

The sound of rattling can be heard coming out of the valley of dry bones, all that has been dead are now coming back to life.

I see divine encounters being released in greater measure.

Many are now receiving deeper spiritual clarity, strategy, wisdom and revelation.  Many are being awakened to the sense of greater Kingdom identity and purpose in God, for the Kingdom of Heaven is now advancing upon the earth.

“in that day the lord will reach out his hand a second time to reclaim the surviving remnant of his people…”   Isaiah 11:11.

I Prophesy:  The remnant is rising…!

“After he had said this, he went on to tell them, “our friend lazarus has fallen asleep; but I am going there to wake him up,”   John 11:11.

I Prophesy:  The power of resurrection life is now awakening the Body of Christ to greater Kingdom identity and destiny

“Truly I tell you, among those born of women there has not risen anyone greater than John the Baptist; yet whoever is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.  From the days of John the Baptist until now, the kingdom of heaven has been subjected to violence, and violent take it by force!”   Matthew 11:11.

I Prophesy:  This is the 11th hour.  The Kingdom of Heaven has been subjected to violence and the violent take it by force.

Watch!  For the 11th hour warriors of heaven are emerging who will take the kingdom by force!

“But the land you are crossing the Jordan to take possession of is a land of mountains and valleys that drinks rain from heaven,”   Deuteronomy 11:11.

I Prophesy:  We are crossing over into the land of manifest promise and prosperity.

Pray for the land of California and to for the nation of Australia.

A great and sudden shaking is coming to the land.

Cry out to The LORD for mercy in midst of great judgement.

“Again the word of the Lord came to me, saying, 2 “Son of man, speak to the children of your people, and say to them: ‘When I bring the sword upon a land, and the people of the land take a man from their territory and make him their watchman, 3 when he sees the sword coming upon the land, if he blows the trumpet and warns the people, 4 then whoever hears the sound of the trumpet and does not take warning, if the sword comes and takes him away, his blood shall be on his own head.  5 He heard the sound of the trumpet, but did not take warning; his blood shall be upon himself. But he who takes warning will save his life.  6 But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet, and the people are not warned, and the sword comes and takes any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood I will require at the watchman’s hand.’
7 “So you, son of man: I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel; therefore you shall hear a word from My mouth and warn them for Me.  8 When I say to the wicked, ‘O wicked man, you shall surely die!’ and you do not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood I will require at your hand.  9 Nevertheless if you warn the wicked to turn from his way, and he does not turn from his way, he shall die in his iniquity; but you have delivered your soul.
10 “Therefore you, O son of man, say to the house of Israel: ‘Thus you say, “If our transgressions and our sins lie upon us, and we pine away in them, how can we then live?”’  11 Say to them: ‘As I live,’ says the Lord God, ‘I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but that the wicked turn from his way and live. Turn, turn from your evil ways! For why should you die, O house of Israel?’”
 Ezekiel 33:1-11.

Blessings to you all.

The Warrior

The battle blazes and the fight continues. The warrior looks up and sees another flaming arrow flying towards her and her comrades. Without hesitation she maneuvers her shield high into the air, stopping the arrow from piercing her or those she has grown to love and admire. It almost knocks her off her feet. She is not wounded, but exhausted.

This particular battle has been raging for some time. She has been using all her training techniques but lately she has been distracted by other cares. Her mind is on things that take her thoughts to places that her commanding officer has warned is a distraction. Lately it seems she cannot focus.

She knows she has to learn to think about things that bring hope and not allow thoughts of despair to paralyze her. The commander has warned her to think about things that bring peace, especially while in battle. She must stay sharp.

Whoosh…another burning arrow flies right towards her. Suddenly a shield swoops in front of her and she hears the thud of the arrow bouncing off of it. This time the shield belongs to her friend. She turns towards her friend. They lock eyes. A smile crosses her friend’s face.

“Don’t worry,” she says. “I got this one.”  They nod at each other as they turn to continue the fight.

The warrior thinks to herself, “My commander is right, my thoughts are distracting me. That arrow could have hit me.”

“Charge!” demands the commander.

The orders produce a power that shakes her from within. With no more distracting thoughts filling her mind, the warrior and those with her charge the enemy with all of their strength. The battle turns from defense to offense. The warrior does what is second nature to her and begins the hand to hand combat with her sword. Strength infuses her weary body.

Suddenly the enemy runs in terror. The hooves of horses can be heard pounding away from the battle ground. The warriors holler in unison as they chase the enemy away. The slaughtered enemy that lay at their feet begin to disintegrate into black smoke, then disappear. They are not of human form but come from devilish soil. At that moment a shout of victory echoes throughout the camp. Another battle has been won.

Joy fills the air where despair once resided.

Tonight there will be a celebration, a celebration of victory and hope. The tired soldiers can rest for a time. The grateful warrior turns to thank the commanding officer for the training and the tenacity he has taught her. As she reaches out her hand, he pulls her close for a huge papa bear style hug.

“Well, done my child,” he says patting her on the back. “Well done. You didn’t give up when you wanted to. You didn’t quit.”

“But I was distracted by despair. An arrow could have hit me when I lowered my shield,” the warrior says embarrassed by her actions.  The commander simply laughs a hearty laugh as if it isn’t a big deal. “But you weren’t hit. Your friend shielded you. That is why you need one another. Besides, I already won this battle. Did you notice how fast the enemy ran?” he said in triumph between deep chuckles.

She did.

“They always run when they see me pull out my sword. They know that I will only allow my children to go through just so many trials. Once I pull out my sword they screech in their tracks, abruptly turn around and run in fear.”

She knows that his sword is extremely sharp and destructive. As he swings it  in demonstration a brilliant light radiates off the metal causing the entire land to flood with the light.

No wonder the enemy runs away with such speed. There is nowhere to hide. They understand they can be annihilated by the commander at any time so they cower at his greatness.

A thought rushes through the warriors mind. “If  the commander is for me, then who can stand against me?”

As she lets that sink in, peace floods her mind and her heart.

The battle was his all along.

That is a synopsis of a moment in the spiritual realm of a warring believer in prayer.

As believers we will always be in some sort of battle. Here are a few things we must remember as we fight in the battle of prayer.

  1. Ultimately every battle belongs to the Lord.
Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. For the battle is not yours, but God’s.” 2 Chronicles 20:15 (NIV)
  2. We do not fight people.
“For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the power of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.” Ephesians 6:12 (NIV)
  3. We need one another.
“As it is, there are many parts, yet one body. The eye cannot say to the hand, ‘I have no need of you’; nor again the head to the feet, ‘I have no need of you.”
    I Corinthians 12: 20-21 (ESV)
“Help carry one another’s burdens, and in this way you will obey the law of Christ.” Galatians 6:2 (GNT)
  4. There is a time for rest.
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11:28 (NIV)

God is merciful but also fierce. He will defend his own. We have to trust him. We may be warriors but we are also his children.  Be strong, fight diligently and rest in his grace.
God bless

What then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?” Romans 8:31  (NIV)

“The Warrior is a Child”
Twila Paris

Lately I’ve been winning
Battles left and right
But even winners can get
Wounded in the fight
People say that I’m amazing
Strong beyond my years
But they don’t see inside of me
I’m hiding all the tears

They don’t know that
I go running home when I fall down
They don’t know Who picks me
Up when no one is around
I drop my sword and cry for just a while
“Cause deep inside this armor
The warrior is a child

Unafraid because his armor is the best
But even soldiers need a quiet place to rest
People say that I’m amazing
Never face retreat
But they don’t see the enemies
That lay me at his feet.

They don’t know that I go
Running home when I fall down
They don’t know Who picks me
Up when no one is around
I drop my sword and cry for just a while
‘Cause deep inside this armor
The warrior is a child.

This is War

I hear rumbling in the distance. It is a deep sound that seems to move the earth itself, almost like a drum. The pebbles dance on top of the barren desert floor to the beat of the sound. The stagnant air causes the dirt that is stirred by the sound to fall back to the ground like a puff of smoke.  Lifelessness seems to eerily surround the four individuals who have gathered together in this wasteland. No trees bloom, no birds sing. Only destruction and garbage litter the ground, as if a bomb has sucked any life out of the once beautiful land.

My eyes scan the desert mountains that outline the grey sky and suddenly something catches my eye. I notice what looks like steps leading part way up a small mountainside.  At the top of the steps is a hidden entrance, yet I know it is there. Guarding the entrance stands a lone man. He isn’t just any man. He is covered in armor that is outlined in crimson. He is a warrior.

The rumbling continues. I wonder why the four people who are meeting at the rocks below do not hear the sound. They are talking to each other, laughing. The sound gets louder and then I see where it is coming from. Just above the horizon, on top of a ridge is an army. It isn’t just any army. These aren’t men. These are creatures, evil creatures. I can feel the evil, I can sense the evil. I can almost smell the evil. They have swords in their hands, mallets in their hands, clubs in their hands.  They are stomping harder, eager to wage war. They are shouting. Something invisible is holding them at bay but I can tell as soon as this invisible shield is broken they are going to attack at full force.

A light is shining from the mountainside where the warrior stands, like the reflection of the sun on a mirror. It is getting brighter. Is it the warrior causing the reflection or is it a light that is coming from the entrance?  I am not sure. The four individuals notice the bright beckoning light. They stop talking and begin to walk towards it, curious. Suddenly they hear the roar of the army on the ridge. Their eyes dart toward the ridge where the army is anxiously waiting, then towards the light.

The warrior is shouting to them, “RUN“!   As soon as they hear those words they notice the army break loose in  full force descending upon them.

RUN!” yells the warrior again, this time louder and this time with greater urgency.

I  hear myself scream, “RUN!”

“RUN!”

I know I am not there and that perhaps they cannot hear me but I scream as loud as I can none the less.

The four people run towards the steps. Reaching them, they take several at a time, not daring to look behind them, knowing there is safety ahead.

“Run deep into Sanctuary!” the warrior directs them when they reach the entrance. “Go in. I will return.”

Just as they get into the entrance the door slams behind them.  The warrior disappears as the people run deep into Sanctuary. Unknown to them a dragon is released. He is huge. He is smart. The battle has begun.

This is only part of a recent dream I had. It would be too long to write it all out at this time. But there is a battle going on around us that we do not see with our physical eyes.  Still we need to run towards the Lord, run towards “sanctuary”– safety. Safety will not be found in a place, but in a person, the person of Jesus Christ.

If you are a follower of Christ, you must realize that you have an enemy. He is not a person but an entity of extreme evil that would love (oxymoron) to destroy any child of God. In fact he wouldn’t mind destroying anyone, anywhere, anytime.  But on the opposite spectrum we are not to fear. God did not give you a spirit of fear. (I Timothy 1:7) Instead the same spirit that raised Christ from the dead lives in us. (Romans 8:11) He has promised to never leave us or forsake us but instead has given us what we need to fight the onslaught of darkness.

This is not a battle against people.
In my dream the enemy was demonic by nature.  I couldn’t really describe what I saw.  But they were not people. Though people may heed to their demands the real enemy behind the evil motives is evil itself – satan and/or his cohorts.

Ephesians 6:12 “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of the world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” (KJV)

This battle belongs to the Lord.
When David was going out to fight Goliath he said in 1 Samuel 17:47, “And everyone assembled here will know that the Lord rescues his people, but not with sword and spear. This is the Lord’s battle, and he will give you to us!” (NLT)

Like David, we just trust God and do what he says. King Jehoshaphat did the same thing in 2 Chronicles. He was frighten because a huge army was about to descend upon him. He and his people prayed and called out to the Lord. God answered those prayers. His enemies actually got confused and ended up killing each other. The battle belonged to the Lord.

The Lord is your safety. You can trust in Him.
Sanctuary is a place of refuge, a place of safety.  That is why in my dream the people were told to hide deep in Sanctuary. The Lord is our safety. We can only hide in him.  When the flood waters came down on Noah and his family, he was safe in the ark. It wasn’t that he didn’t go through the storm, but he had listened to the Lord and rode the storm in safety.

How do we do that today?  It is by getting to know the Lord personally, spending time with him and hearing his voice. We hide under the shadows of his wings through prayer, through praise, through knowing his word and through obedience.

The entire chapter of Psalm 91 is filled with verses about hiding in the Lord and finding refuge in him. Verses 1-3 state, “Those who live in the shelter of the Most High, will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty. This I declare about the Lord: He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; He is my God and I trust him. He will rescue you from every trap and protect you from deadly disease.” Verse 14 continues, “The Lord says, “I will rescue those who love me. I will protect those who trust in my name.” (NLT)

Is that to say that we will never face battles? On the contrary we will face many, but we can ride the storm with the Lord.  He will give us wisdom how to fight the raging darkness.

When called to fight, know how.
Revelation 12:11 states that “the enemy was defeated by the blood of the Lamb and by their testimony. And they did not love their lives so much that they were afraid to die.”  (NLT)

We have already been given victory because of the cross. Christ’s blood is strong.  It frightens our enemy because it has already defeated sin and eternal damnation. God’s word is alive and active and shaper than a double-edged sword. (Hebrews 4:12) Paul explains in the book of Ephesians that a believer should put on the whole armor of God, reminding us that the word of the Lord is our sword. Study it and declare it’s promises in your life and in the lives of others.

God is Greater.
Let’s not forget the story of Elisha and his servant. Horses and chariots surrounded their city. His servant was frightened when he saw them and wondered what they were to do. But Elisha prayed that the Lord would open the servant’s eyes. Then the young man saw that the hillside around Elisha was filled with horses and chariots of fire from heaven.

We are in a raging invisible war. BUT the Lord has already won!
Remember this: if GOD is for us who can be against us? Romans 8:31b (NLT)

Amen, so be it.
